The Ridgeland Panthers picked up a very important win at home on Tuesday, avenging a Jan. 15 loss to Ringgold by downing the Tigers, 61-54.

The Panthers (11-10, 5-2) led 29-26 at halftime and slowly increased their lead in the second half.

Mason Harris paced Ridgeland with 18 points. Dewaun Harrison finished with 14 while Deonte Marsh continued his solid recent play with 11.

Nick Scott had 15 points for Ringgold. Barrett Johnson added 13 while Martez Eastland chipped in with eight.

Ridgeland will host Heritage on Friday before LFO comes to Rossville on Saturday.

What a joke!! You had to be there to fully appreciate what happened. Some people (outside of the players) involved in the game last night should really be ashamed of their performance.
