Tonight’s contests will likely represent Armuchee’s final appearance at the venerable venue. The Model teams, who have controlled the rivalry in recent years, are moving into a new facility next year.
The Lady Devils swept the series last season, winning 59-42 on the road and 56-42 at the M-Dome on the way to a 31-1 season.
Armuchee’s girls (12-4, 3-1) enter tonight’s game coming off a 70-45 victory at home over Rockmart on Friday. Model (10-8, 2-2) won on Saturday at Calhoun, coming back from a halftime deficit to get the 58-49 win.
