CHICKAMAUGA - In what head coach Lester Galyon called "perhaps the most complete game of the season", the No. 5-ranked Gordon Lee Lady Trojans started out hot and finished even hotter in a 75-27 dismantling of the visiting Bremen Lady Blue Devils on Friday.

The Lady Trojans (16-1, 6-0) took a 17-6 lead after one quarter and expanded the advantage to 32-17 at halftime.

Then the Navy-and-White really went to work.

A 13-4 run to open the second half helped push the lead to 49-23 after three quarters. Then in the fourth, Gordon Lee held Bremen without a point for the first six minutes as they outscored the Lady Devils, 26-4, over the final period.

"Start to finish, offensively and defensively, we played really well," Galyon explained.

Gordon Lee had a dozen players score and the red-hot outside shooting continued for the Lady Trojans, who hit seven more threes on the night.

Holli Brooks finished with 20 points while Lesslie Bohannon added 13 points, including nine on three 3-pointers. Lil Bradbury and Jill Johnson went for nine points each.

Sarah Stansberry had 10 points for Bremen (3-6, 2-3), who was forced into 26 turnovers by the Lady Trojans defense.

Gordon Lee will look to stay unbeaten in Region 6-A play on Saturday when they travel to Bowdon.
