Darlington and Calhoun each advanced to the third round of the state baseball playoffs by sweeping their opponents on Wednesday.

Darlington now turns their attention to Brookstone who advanced after beating Savannah Christian two out of three games. The No. 4 Cougars are 22-6 and the three-seed from region 2-A, but will have to come to Darlington as the Tigers will host throughout the playoffs.

Calhoun will also host in the second round where they will face off with region 3-AA three-seed Dublin. The Fighting Irish are 22-9 after beating Appling County in the second round.
