The top-seeded Calhoun girls dropped a 2-0 decision to second-seeded Lovett in the first round of the AA playoffs.

The Calhoun boys, ranked No. 4 in the state, were also scheduled to host Lovett on Thursday, but the match was postponed due to the threat of severve weather in the area.

The teams will make-up the contest today. The starting time of the match will be announced this morning.
