The Cedartown High School Bulldogs baseball team was supposed to host Ringgold today at 6 p.m. in their Region 6-AAA opener. However, due to the wet weather the game has been postponed.

According to Cedartown Head Coach Doyle Kelley a region game must be made up on the next available date and because of that the two teams will play in Cedartown on Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Monday was chosen as the next available date because the rain is scheduled to continue to fall today and Saturday.

The Bulldogs were supposed to visit Pepperell on Monday, but because that is a non-region game that contest will be pushed back to a later date.

Cedartown will enter into the game with a 7-1 overall record while the Tigers come in at 5-5 overall and 1-0 in region play.
