The Cedartown High School cheerleaders held a cheer clinic on Saturday, Aug. 28 at the girls fieldhouse.

“It was a fantastic clinic with a great turnout,” head coach Brigitte Tillery said about one of their fundraisers. “The cheerleaders taught the participants several cheers, a dance, stunting techniques and tumbling skills.”

Mack, the Cedartown High mascot, also made a visit to the clinic to play with the girls and to take photos.

Tillery said 40 “extremely spirited” girls from the community came to the clinic.

Tillery, assistant coach Jennae Elder and the cheerleaders want to thank the parents who brought their daughters out to the cheer clinic.

Tillery also wanted to thank the CHS cheerleading parents, and Todd and Leigh Lee.

Tillery said T-shirts (shown in the photo being worn by the participants) are still available for $10.
